Two shows this weekend!
There are two South County show locations this weekend. The first one is in Grand Rapids, MI (Friday at The Back Forty Saloon) and the second on is in Comstock, MI (Saturday at River Street Flowerland). Kick the weekend off Friday by dancing the night away, and then come out and support the Comstock Community Center at their fund raiser celebration! All available information is available at the calendar events pages for The Back Forty show and Ready, Set, Grow!
Also make sure you keep an ear out for the new Cow Jam advertisement on the radio:

New South County swag
We recently got a new batch of South County promotional items that are available at all of our shows.
We'd like to thank Stephanie Andrews for designing the new stickers. We have an 8.5" x 1.5" Sticker:

We also have a 8.5" x 2.75" Sticker:

Also due to our recent sponsorship by Clayton Guitar Picks, Kirby has a new set of guitar picks he might hook you up with at a show (design by Nicole Maggard):

We also still have a whole plethora of band photos that we've been handing out (and signing, if requested). They're "Print 1" through "Print 5" in the promo gallery.
We'll be glad to hook you up with any of these items if you're a fan and you ask nicely, buy us a drink, or steal one while we aren't looking.
Gun Lake Casino this Thursday (April 5th, 2012)
Gun Lake Casino is super proud to bring you totally hot local acts for free, at Stage 131. So you can have a rockin’ night out, without getting hit with a big cover charge. Be sure to check often to see what’s new. More than a bar, Stage 131 is a great place to catch local acts on stage, or your favorite sports on big-screen TVs. All the while, sipping a cold beverage, right next to all the action of the casino floor.
And don't forget to vote for us to play downtown Kalamazoo at the mixers on the mall!

Great Nob Hill experience and more voting!
First off, we'd like to say that the show last weekend at Nob Hill was a blast! We had a great time and we could tell by your faces that everyone else did too.
If you have any pictures of the event, send them our way because we'd love to see them.
Also, we were nominated by B-93's very own Conrad to play at the B-93.7 Birthday Bash. You can vote for South County here. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? GO VOTE!

South County returns to The Venue
South County is going to return to play The Venue for the second time on Saturday, February 18th, 2012 from 9:00 PM until midnight. Make sure you bring your dancing shoes because it was a wild time last time. There's plenty of room to dance and a lot of energy. See you there!

PRESS RELEASE: Again, thank you SC fan's for your understanding of cutting the show short Saturday night. For those of you not there, we had a band member that came down with the 24 hour flu bug just before setup and progressively got worse as the night went on. And because we need all band mates 100% for a solid country rock show, we made the decision to cut the show short and have the DJ perform the rest of the night. Again, thank you for your understanding fan's. We will make it up to you. Have a great week all!
South County nominated to open for Frankie Ballard @ the Intersection.
South County has been added to a list of potential opening acts for Frankie Ballard at the Intersection in Grand Rapids! It's pretty amazing and we are honored that we are being voted on for this awesome opportunity. The band has been making progress in leaps and bounds with every show we do. Cowboy Up Friday and Saturday was just flat out amazing with the crowd response we received. We want to ask a personal favor of all of our fans and friends to vote for us and to spread the word to help us on this voting. It would mean a lot to us. Thank you all.

EDIT:
Unfortunately, we didn't win. We were only on the poll for 24 hours and got 270+ votes which is not bad considering most other bands were on there for 3 or 4 days. We got 4th out of 90 bands... not too shabby. Thanks for the help!Three upcoming shows this week (Jan 23rd, 2012)
